More than 30,000 children are diagnosed each year with an autism spectrum disorder, a pervasive developmental disorder that causes behavioral rigidity or restrictions and affects a child’s ability to communicate and socialize. Stefani Hines, M.D., and Lori Warner, Ph.D., of the Beaumont Center for Human Development’s HOPE Center, will host a webinar early signs of the condition, diagnostic techniques and treatments on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. The talk will be followed by a live question and answer session.
